Koh Samui Airport

Koh Samui Airport was inaugurated in 1989. Today it is an international airport with 2 terminals (1 domestic and 1 international), there are immigration offices for international flights, souvenir shops and restaurants.
The largest airline is Bangkok Airway, which has a monopoly and offers the largest number of flights to Koh Samui. With Thai Airway International, only a few aircraft land daily.

Transfer service is available from the airport to your hotel and inversely.

Surat Thani Airport

The Surat Thani domestic airport is located at 1h30 from Donsak. Then one of the ferries will take you to Koh Samui. The journey also lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Low-coat airlines for Surat Thani depart from Don Mueang (Bangkok Inland Airport). Air Asia, Nok Air and Lion Air are low-cost airlines serving this airport, but not Koh Samui.
Air Asia is one of the cheapest airlines in Thailand and offers plane + bus + boat tickets to travel from Bangkok to Koh Samui.

We offer a service from SuratThani (city, bus station, train station and airport) to Koh Samui and transfer to your hotel.
Also available SuratThani to Koh Phangan (ThongSala pier) and Koh Tao.
Inversely it is also available.

Ferry

Departures are possible at any time of the day.
Between Donsak and Koh Samui there are 2 main companies, the Seatran, Raja ferry.
Departure every hour from 05h00 to 18h00.

From Donsak to Koh Samui (Nathon)
1h30 of crossing.
Ferry fare: 140. – THB/pers.

From Donsak to Koh Phangan (Tong Sala Pier)
2 hours of crossing.
Ferry fare: 450. – THB/pers.

From Koh Samui (Maenam Pralarn Pier) to Koh Phangan (Tong Sala Pier)
One-way fare: 350 THB/pers.
Price of mini bus: 150. -THB/pers. Transfer from the hotel to the landing on Koh Samui.

From Koh Samui (Maenam Pralarn Pier) to Koh Tao (Mae Haad Pier)
One-way fare: 700 THB/pers.
Price of mini bus: 150. -THB/pers. Transfer from the hotel to the landing on Koh Samui.

Taxi & Red Pick up (Songtail)

Taxis and Songtail (pickup red) are widespread on the island and on the mainland.

Red Pickups can be stopped at the side of the road by raising their hands. Clarify the route and price with the driver. You can exit anywhere – by pressing the ringing tone.

Taxi fares in Koh Samui are a little more expensive than on the mainland.
Taxi fares vary according to distance. Basic tax of approximately THB 500 (negotiable) plus travel expenses.

Motobike or Car Rental

Motorcycle rental varies from 250.- THB/day to 700.- THB/day depending on the model. It costs you a fine of 500.- THB if you do not wear a helmet. So for your safety, it is advised to wear one.

Car rental varies depending on the model and starts at 1’200.- THB/day. (Included insurance)

Deposit for motorbike is THB 3’000.- for small models and original passport for large motorbikes. For cars, small model deposit of THB 10’000.- or 300 USD / EURO and for large cars THB 20’000.- or 600 USD/ EURO.

To rent a car or a scooter, you will need to present your original driving license, a copy of your passport and a copy of your driving license.
A deposit is required or the original passport will be kept. (recommended to make a copy and have it with you).
It is also recommended to take out a comprehensive insurance.
