Koh Samui

Koh Samui is the most important island in the Gulf of Thailand. With beautiful beaches, easily accessible and a variety of activities for all budgets. Koh Samui is a ” choose your own adventure resort “that strives to meet the ultimate wishes of every visitor.

Koh Samui is Thailand’s second most popular destination and is located in the Gulf of Thailand, about 700 km south of Bangkok. Koh Samui is Thailand’s third largest island and is located in an archipelago of more than 80 islands, including Angthong National Marine Park.

Chaweng is a coastal village with fabulous seaside resorts, internationally renowned restaurants and world-class nightclubs. Activities around Koh Samui include cooking classes, Muay Thai, diving and even golf.
There are quiet and secluded beaches, ideal for relaxing, some of the best 5-star resorts in the world, and some villages like Bophut or Maenam that radiate the charm of the ancient world.

However, this was not always the case. Until the end of the 20th century, Koh Samui was the home of a small community dedicated to fishing and harvesting coconuts.

Until the early 1970s, there were not even roads on the island – lush tropical forests, fine sandy beaches lined with palm trees and surrounded by marine and tropical waters. But as soon as foreign visitors discovered this jewel of the island, development quickly followed.

Today, Koh Samui has developed into an island style that preserves much of its natural beauty and loneliness and offers almost every imaginable activity or service for the ultimate tropical vacation.
