Full Moon Party

Koh Phangan is famous throughout the world for its Full Moon celebrations, where between 10,000 and 30,000 people celebrate on Haad Rin Beach, southeast of Koh Phangan. The full moon festival began in the late 1980s and developed as friends organized wild festivals in the light of the full moon.

The party went from guitars and tape recorders on the beach to fifteen or so sound systems in Haad Rin Beach. International and local DJs who play all kinds of musical styles – techno, trance, dubstep, goa, house and commercial hits.

Full moon parties are mass parties that take place all night long, are fun and generally considered to be an unforgettable experience. The opportunity to share fun and music with people from all over the world, to sit down with friends or meet new friends from all over the world. Enjoy fire and skipping rope shows, limbo, water slides and other attractions along the beach. Beverages and food can be ordered in restaurants and bars along the beach.
