Elephant Kingdom

Welcome to Elephant Kingdom Samui, the ethical sanctuary with Koh Samui’s first and only open-air walkway (our open-air walkway is 400 metres long).

These animals have worked all their lives in the tourism industry and long, exhausting hours in the logging industry.

Do you love elephants and want to see them up close? Then we have a unique experience for you, which you will remember with joy for the rest of your life.

With the Sky Walk you can observe elephants in the most natural way. You will really see how they behave and live in the wild.
They are not chained, abused, beaten with sticks, let alone ridden on their backs. Here they have their own home and can move around freely and do what they want.

The programme includes an unforgettable experience with the herd of about ten elephants that have been rescued so far. Half a day with elephants is breathtaking and we are sure that this day with Samui’s elephants will touch you deeply with the incredible beauty of the world’s largest land mammal.

In addition, the Sky Walk is safe for all, especially for children and the elderly.
Wheelchairs and prams for children and the elderly are available.

Program

  • Pick up at the hotel.
  • Arrival at the Samui Elephant Kingdom, welcome and presentation of the SEK project.
  • Learn about elephant nutrition, participate and discover the Napier grass plantation.
  • Cook food for the elephants in the Power Ball kitchen.
  • A free, fruit basket to feed the gentle giants. On the 400-metre long footbridge, watch the elephants in their natural habits and free-range life from the air.
  • Meet and walk with the elephants of the kingdom. Observe their behaviour in the bath and a protective mud spa.
  • Enjoy quality Thai and international dishes and seasonal fruits.
  • Meet the friends of our gentle giants before saying goodbye.
  • Leave Samui’s Elephant Kingdom and return to your hotel.

Remarks

In case of cancellation 48 hours before the beginning of the activity, 50% of the total amount will be refunded, if less than 48 hours before the beginning of the activity or no-show, no refund will be made.
In the event of cancellation by the company, the booking fee of THB 700.- per person will not be refunded.
In case of loss, damage or theft of your personal belongings, YouMe Holiday declines all responsibility.
The use of drones is strictly prohibited because it scares elephants.
