Angthong National Marine Park is a fascinating archipelago of 42 islands on the central coast of the southern Gulf of Thailand, just northwest of Koh Samui. All islands are uninhabited, with the exception of the two islands Koh Wua Talap and Ko Phaluay, which are inhabited by Rangers who provide security for the islands.

The name Angthong means “golden bowl “. The limestone island stretches over almost 250 square kilometres with spectacular cliffs rising hundreds of metres from the sea.
In addition to the numerous small bays and beautiful beaches, erosion has formed interesting and strange rock formations. Caves, hidden lagoons and white sandy beaches await to be explored. When snorkeling in shallow coral gardens, it’s a popular and fascinating excursion.
There are a considerable number of wild animals inhabiting the islands, including Asian monkey (langur), vulture, Pacific heron, white-bellied eagle, ashen dragon, sea turtles, lizards and pythons.
The surrounding sea is home to butterflies, angels, parrots, blue spotted skates, perennials and so on.
Koh Mae Koh (Mother Island) is a must-see visit to an emerald green seawater lake in the middle of the island, surrounded by limestone cliffs and connected by an underground tunnel to the sea. Reaching the lake involves a vigorous ascent, but is rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire park.
Another popular site is ” Wua Talap “. It takes a little effort to climb the 550m high hill to the viewpoint from where you will have a remarkable view of the archipelago and the mainland. But it’s worth it.

09:50 Arrival of the boat at Angthong National Marine Park. At “Koh Mae Koh”, enjoy a kayak tour around the islands to visit the fantastic view of nature. Visit “Talay Nai”, a blue lagoon with beautiful emerald green water. In the late afternoon, you can swim, sunbathe, relax and snorkel.
12:30 A delicious buffet lunch and fresh fruits are served on board.
