Koh Tan, Koh Madsum (Pig Island) & Koh Rap
These are three small neighbouring islands located about five kilometres south of Koh Samui.
Koh Tan or “Coral Island” is a primitive island with a small fishing village. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts. It is a perfect place to visit as an alternative to Samui, and still offers exciting activities as well as other destinations within a few hours drive.
In front of Koh Tan is Koh Madsum or also call Pig Beach, a remote island with a sumptuous white sandy beach. There is no great infrastructure here, so you are really immersed in nature and island lifestyle. For those who want to discover the true beauty of the island far from the crowds or simply relax in the warm, shallow waters or take funny pictures with pigs on the beach. A quiet and natural place by the sea.
A little further south is Koh Rap, a very quiet island paradise with a few pigs and deer. Ideal to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is a small Robinson Crusoe bar and a few deck chairs.
